Headwaters Partnership presents “Mineral Leasing” and “Big Hearts” Event December 4th in Twin Bridges
Mary Sexton will give a presentation on mineral leasing activities for southwest Montana state lands on Thursday, December 4, in Twin Bridges for the Headwaters Partnership annual gathering of six Missouri headwaters watershed groups. Mary Sexton is Director of the Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation. A short presentation by Donna McDonald on Big Hearts Under the Big Sky will follow.
This evening is organized by the Headwaters Partnership, a collaboration of six upper Missouri watershed groups working to improve local water availability, water quality, ranchland biological health, and weed control. The Beaverhead watershed group will also provide information on their current watershed activities.
The evening starts at 6 p.m. with a pot luck dinner at the Twin Bridges High School cafeteria, followed at 7 p.m. with introductions and Mary Sexton’s presentation on mineral leasing activities, and Donna McDonald’s presentation on the Montana outfitters “Big Hearts” project. This event will be in the main cafeteria of the Twin Bridges High School (located at 210 W. 6th Ave. Twin Bridges).
