Come join the Beaverhead Watershed Committee, in conjunction with Bureau of Reclamation and Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks, to explore and develop management strategies and/or pilot projects that improve the environmental health of the Beaverhead Watershed. At the meeting Denise Miotke from the East Bench Irrigation unit will be giving an update on current water usage and outlook; Jim Forseth from Reclamation will be giving an overview of House Bill 52 ground water studies; and Dick Oswald from Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks will provide an update on the Clark Canyon Creek drainage. A discussion period will be held to further define priorities and future projects. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, August 11th at 7:30 P.M. at the Search and Rescue Building in Dillon (behind the National Guard Armory).
The Beaverhead Watershed Committee will NOT meet prior to the Environmental Health Program meeting.
