Wildlife Speaker Series – Otters

August 22, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for the eighth and final event of our annual Summer Speaker Series, where we will learn oodles of outrageous observations on otters! We will kick off the evening at 6:00 PM with a community potluck dinner at the Wall Creek Wildlife Management Area, so bring your favorite dish to share. Our featured event will begin at 7:00 with a presentation from Kerry Foresman of the University of Montana.

Driving directions: From Ennis, head south on Highway 287 for 18 miles and turn right onto Johnny Ridge Rd (it’s the first road after you cross the bridge over Indian Creek, there are signs for McAtee Bridge and Imerys Talc Mine). After about a mile you’ll cross over the river and take the first left onto Ruby Creek Rd. Stay on Ruby Creek Rd. for 2.5 miles. Past the recreation area, the road will come to a T with the paved road heading left and a gravel driveway going right; turn right into the gravel driveway towards the red barn and tan buildings. You can park anywhere in the mowed area. We will have signs up the day of the event.
